CUSTOM SOLUTIONS

We don't just create equipment, we create solutions. Since 1980, Sorinex has designed and built custom innovative training solutions of the highest standard. Custom isn’t just picking your logos and colors. To us, custom means a hand-built solution from start to finish. Every situation is unique. Here are just some examples of solutions we have created to resolve specific needs. The possibilities are endless.

Sorinex Cloud™ at UFC

UFC Cloud

The UFC Performance Institute in Shanghai, China had a unique request. Their problem was that they needed a space-saving rig that was suspended from the ceiling, along with the capacity to hold up to 28 fighters at a time. To meet their demand, Sorinex created a 40’ ceiling mounted suspension rig. The length of the rig was requested to be the same size as the logo that was installed underneath. The octagons on either side of the monkey bars also provide multiple attachment points for endless training solutions. Instead of having a permanent rig bolted to the floor that minimized training space, Sorinex effectively doubled the UFCPI’s training footprint by bringing forth the world’s first ever rig suspension system.

Northwestern University PR Bell

Northwestern University PR Bell

Northwestern University PR Bell

The coaches at Northwestern wanted a PR bell that stood the test of time- something that previous bells and stands would not. He wanted it to be the focal point of the room and something that nobody else had. To achieve this, we found a bell from 1836 and built something everyone can see from every point of the weight room, since the only time you ring that bell is when you hit a PR.

Pullara Pulling Station

Pullara Pulling Station

Pullara Pulling Station

The beauty of the four-way hole design, is that a myriad of products connect and build upon each other. This was the case with the Pullara Pulling Station. Combine custom height Iron Bear storage with lat pulls, and you’ve got the beefiest, and most versatile, pulling station available. Centrally located in the room, this station allows all athletes access to the needed storage and pulling options allocated in their programming. While aesthetically pleasing, bridged to Base Camp Uber Racks, the Pullara Pulling Station is truly a one of a kind solution.

University of South Carolina Armored Rack

University of South Carolina Armored Rack

The Armored rack was a departure from the norm in that we wanted to design something that was not only striking, but safe, efficient, and training-dense. The unique design that allows access from not only the front and back of the rack, but also the sides, allows for a maximum flow of athletes between stations and group work. The shrouded weight stacks can be used unilaterally from both the high and low positions. They can also be utilized with the jammer arms to provide resistance from a multitude of angles and leverage points. The overall design of the rack breaks up the station into 2 fundamental areas where one can coach the core lifts without interfering with any auxiliary lifts that might be going on at the same time.

University of Tennessee Jumbotron

This one-of-a-kind solution was created to be just that. Tennessee wanted something that no one else had, that could dual function as an educational area for presentations, seminars, videos, product demonstrations, and team education, as well as a training space.

University of Tennessee Rolling
Power Block Cart

University of Tennessee Rolling
Power Block Cart

The advantage of power blocks is and always have been to have a space saving piece, but with the drawback of being stationary. We were given the request for a storage unit for power blocks that could be moved any given day to add to the functionality of the room. With this solution they didn’t have to program around the room but the room can adapt to their program that day. This cart can hold two power blocks and two handles on top with extra weight storage on bottom.

University of Tennessee Rolling Bumper Cart

University of Tennessee Rolling Bumper Cart

Setting up and breaking down for a team competition day or speed training day takes a decent amount of time, so creating a way to easily store and move bumpers from a storage area to the turf and efficiently load and unload was the goal for this project. Creating an efficient, movable, storage solution that cuts down the set up and break up time allows coaches to spend more time on their athletes.

Mississippi State Custom Iron Bear

Mississippi State Iron Bear Custom Storage

Mississippi State Custom Iron Bear

Coming to and from class creates a situation where many athletes bring with them cleats, hats, gloves, sandals, bags, or a host of other items. This provided the perfect opportunity to integrate the Iron Bear Cubby Station. With the modular nature of the cubbies the staff was given flexibility to select the desired height and length, while also providing a mounting system to integrate custom branded logos for the school. When you take these factors, and add to it the heart-warming tribute staff requested in memory of a student athlete--one who recently lost her battle to cancer--it became an emotional and meaningful part of their strength facility. As the first piece of equipment every athlete passes upon entry, the bulldog is there to greet them with the ever-present reminder: NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE.

49ers Recovery Rack

49ers Recovery Rack

If you walk into many weight rooms, you’ll find a few things scattered across the room. What if you could build a storage solution that is equally functional as it is versatile. For the 49ers, a Custom Recovery Rack is what solved that problem. Straps, bands, med balls, soft tissue tools, wraps, etc. all find their home here. Coupled with Trigger Bars and Trigger Wheels, the Recovery Rack is both a storage and mobility station.

St. Louis Cardinals Storage Locker

St. Louis Cardinals Storage Locker

The Cardinals coaches wanted a solution for loose parts to be stored off the ground, such as specialty bars, sleds, and extra bands. As a result, we created an item that fixed all of his current flooring problems while that could also be branded to make a cleaner and safer look for their weight room.

This rack bridge was created as the ultimate grip and arm station to combine functionality and custom branding. It saves space by providing a training station for several athletes to train at the same station in between racks.

Marquette University Rolling Desk

Marquette University Rolling Desk

Marquette University Rolling Desk

The coaching staff at Marquette University had two specific needs when commissioning these workstations: it had to be usable both in their offices and have the ability to move to the weight room. The next issue was how to allow multiple stations to dock into each other for different configurations depending on whether it was a staff meeting or needed to serve a single coach's work station. In the end, what was delivered is a rolling desk with multiple storage options that can be used individually by a staff-member or in conjunction with other desks to create a large modular conference table. Add to those features the ability to pre-wire power strips and brand each station with the school's custom logo, and what you have is a truly unique industry-first solution.
