CUSTOM SOLUTIONS

Sorinex rigs can be customized and configured to meet the exact needs of your facility. At the UFC Performance Institute in Shanghai, they needed a space-saving rig that was suspended from the ceiling, along with the capacity to hold up to 28 fighters at a time. To meet their demand, we created the Sorinex® Suspension Cloud™ Rig. The 40' length of the rig was requested to be the same size as the logo that was installed underneath. The octagons on either side of the monkey bars also provide multiple attachment points for endless training solutions. Instead of having a permanent rig bolted to the floor that minimized training space, Sorinex effectively doubled the UFCPI’s training footprint by bringing forth the world’s first ever rig suspension system.

INNOVATIVE TRAINING SOLUTIONS

We look at the specific needs of our client's and their athletes to come up with an innovative training solution for their facility. To meet the needs of a UFC fighter, we combined form, function, and art to create the Heavy Bag Cloud. The prime objective was to have heavy bags accessible when needed and unrestricted by any upright and provide a free open area to train; the solution, remove the uprights entirely. Sorinex took on the challenge of carefully engineering a structure which could withstand the beating it would take by a UFC fighter. Additionally, there was a need to adjust different bags in place to allow for a variety of training all in the same area. The bags were mounted to adjustable and lockable fixtures that could be easily moved in an out of place quickly and provide versatility for the athlete.
